SCORM results
When a participant completes a SCORM module, the results are recorded automatically:
- Progress — The percentage of the module that has been completed.
- Status — The module status (for example completed, not completed, passed or failed).
- Score — The score achieved, if the module reports a score.
Note: The recorded results depend on what the SCORM package reports. Not all SCORM packages report a score.
Frequently asked questions
Which SCORM versions are supported?
PlusPort Academy supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004.
Can I update a SCORM package without losing results?
When you upload a new version of a SCORM package, existing participant results are retained. The new version becomes available to participants who start the module again.
What is the maximum file size for a SCORM upload?
This depends on the portal configuration. Contact your consultant if you experience problems uploading large files.
What should I do if I receive a message that the manifest file is missing?
This message means that the uploaded zip file does not contain imsmanifest.xml. This file is required for SCORM packages and contains all metadata for the e-learning module.
Check the following:
- Open the zip file on your computer and check that
imsmanifest.xmlis in the root of the zip file. - If the file is in a subfolder, recreate the zip file with
imsmanifest.xmldirectly in the root folder. - Make sure it is a valid SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 package.
- Upload the corrected zip file again.
