If you obtained a certificate outside the portal, you can request an exemption. This indicates that you already have the required competency without taking the training again. This article explains how to request an exemption.
Requirements
- The administrator must enable the self-exemption option.
- Required certificates must be configured for your function.
Request an exemption

Click your initials or profile picture in the top right.

Click My profile.

Go to the Competency or Certificates tab.

Find the certificate for which you want to request an exemption. Use the Category field to filter the list of certificates by certificate category, so you can find the right certificate more quickly.

Click Request exemption.

Enter the following details:

Click Submit.
Approval process
After submitting your exemption request:
- Your manager or HR employee receives a notification.
- They review your request and the attached proof document.
- The request is approved or rejected.
- You receive a notification about the result.
Note: An approved exemption counts as a valid certificate in your profile.
