The general portal settings determine how the portal behaves and is displayed. Here you can configure the default language, corporate identity and general options that apply to all users.
Requirements
- You need the Beheer_Portalinstellingen right to change the portal settings.
Open the portal settings
Go to Management > Management > My portal to open the portal settings.
General settings
On the General tab, you can configure the following settings:

Customise the corporate identity
You can customise the portal to match your organisation's corporate identity:
- Go to Management > Management > My portal.
- Upload a logo through the logo selection field.
- Set the primary colour using the colour picker.
- Click Save.
Note: Corporate identity changes are immediately visible to all users after saving.
Enforce two-factor authentication
You can make two-factor authentication (2FA) mandatory for all users from the portal settings:
- Go to Management > Management > My portal.
- Find the Enforce 2FA setting.
- Enable 2FA using the toggle.
- When you activate 2FA, the Enforce for all existing authorisation groups option appears. Select it to make 2FA mandatory for all authorisation groups immediately.
- Click Save.
Note: When you enforce 2FA, all users must set up an authenticator app at their next login.

On the security settings tab, you can configure two-factor authentication (2FA) for the portal.

Frequently asked questions
Can I set up multiple languages?
Yes, you can activate multiple languages for the portal. Users can then choose their preferred language in their profile.
How do I change the portal name?
Go to Management > Management > My portal, change the Portal name field and click Save.
Which file formats are supported for the logo?
The logo must be an image in PNG or JPG format. Check the settings screen for the recommended dimensions.
