You can link a digital test to a training to test participants' knowledge. The test is added as a digital session to the training and can be made mandatory as part of the training result.
Prerequisites
- You need administrator rights to link tests.
- The test must already be created as a content item.
- The training must already exist.
Link test
Step 1: Open the training definition
Go to Schedule > Trainings > Training definitions and open the training definition to which you want to link the test.
Step 2: Go to Content for this definition
Click on Content for this definition > Edit e-learning items to open the content library.
Step 3: Link the test
- Select the desired test from the list
- Click the button to link the test to the training definition
Step 4: Save the training definition
Click Save to save the changes to the training definition.
Don't forget to select a passing item!
View test results
Test analysis report
Navigate to Reports > Digital content > Test analysis
This report provides:
- Average score of all participants
- Pass percentage
- Most difficult questions (lowest percentage of correct answers)
Per digital item report
Navigate to Reports > Digital content > Per digital item
Assign certificate based on test result
You can configure that a certificate is automatically awarded when a participant successfully completes the test:
- Go to the training planner.
- Open the Data tab.
- Link the certificate that should be automatically awarded upon a passing result.
Note: The pass threshold is determined by the settings of the test content item.

Can a participant take the test multiple times?
This depends on the settings of the test content item. If retake is enabled, the participant can retake the test.
Are test results included in reports?
Yes, test results are included in the digital content reports. You can view scores, pass percentages and answer analyses here.
Can I adjust the pass threshold after linking?
You can adjust the passing item in the training definition.
Additionally, at the content item (Management > Content management > Manage digital content) you can also adjust the following after linking:
- Pass percentage
- Maximum number of attempts
- Time limit
- Text passed/failed
