It may happen that you want to move a participant from one session to another, for example due to a schedule change or cancellation. In this article, you will learn how to move participants.
Requirements
- You need permissions to manage registrations.
- There must be another session available with free spots.
Moving a Participant
- Go to Planning > Planning > Training Calendar or Training Planner
- Find the session in which the participant is currently registered.
- Open the participant list via the participant icon and click on the Trash icon next to the correct participant.
- Choose the action Move.
- Select the new session.
- Click Confirm.
Note: When moving, the original registration is cancelled and a new registration is created. The participant will receive a notification about this. You can modify this under Management > Notifications > Registration moved to participant.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are results retained when moving?
No, any results (such as attendance status) are not automatically carried over to the new session.
Can I move multiple participants at once?
Yes, select the appropriate participants and click Delete at the bottom. Then click Move.
What if the new session is already full?
If the new session has reached the maximum number of participants, you cannot move the participant unless you adjust the maximum group size.
