Visma Connect lets you configure SSO and automatically synchronise user data. This article explains how user synchronisation via Visma Connect works.
Requirements
- The Visma Connect connection must be active.
- User synchronisation must be enabled.
How does synchronisation work?
When Visma Connect is connected, user data can be synchronised automatically:
Users are created or updated based on their Visma Connect profile.
The following data is synchronised:
Data Description Name The user's first and last name. E-mail address The primary e-mail address. Organisation The organisation the user belongs to. The data is updated at each login if there are changes in the Visma Connect profile.
Synchronisation settings
- Go to Management > Management > My portal > SSO settings.
- Go to the Visma Connect section.
- Enable User synchronisation.
- Configure the field mapping (which Visma Connect fields are linked to which portal fields).
- Click Save.
Frequently asked questions
Are all user data overwritten during synchronisation?

What happens if a user is deleted in Visma Connect?
The user is not automatically deleted from the portal. The administrator can deactivate the user manually.
