With this import you link or remove reporting departments for a user who is in at least one authorisation group of the type 'Reporter'.
To perform this import, follow these steps:
Go to Management > Management > Imports
Click on 'Departments' and then on 'Reporting Departments'
Download the template each time (to make sure you are using the latest version) by clicking the 'Download Template' button.
Open the Excel file 'users_template.xlsx' and fill in all columns.
Field explanation:
- 'User Code': The linking code of the user for whom the change (adding or removing reporting department) needs to be made. You can find this code in the user's profile, under 'Other Details'.
- 'Department code': The department code of the department that needs to be assigned or removed as a reporting department. You can find this code by viewing the department, under the 'Details' tab (Management > Management > My Portal).
- 'Action': Here you indicate whether the aforementioned department should be added ('Add') or removed ('Delete') as a reporting department for the specified user.
Save the file and click 'Import'
Click the 'Browse' button and then 'Save'.
An error log is generated when data is missing or incorrect. Click on the three dots and then on 'Failed' to download and view the log. The last column of the file shows the reason why the import failed.
