Our import module can be useful when you want to quickly make a large number of changes or additions in the portal.
To use the import module, the right 'Beheer_imports_importmodule' is required, which you add to an authorisation group of the type 'General'. Additionally, in the same authorisation group it is determined which imports are made available. These rights start with 'Beheer_imports_' followed by the name of the data to be imported. For example 'Beheer_imports_gebruikers'.
The following buttons are shown under each import option:
It is important to always click on 'Download template' and fill in this template. This way you ensure that you are always using the correct version of the template.
Once the template has been filled in, click 'Import'. Here you click the 'Browse' button and then 'Save'.
Under 'Import progress' running imports are shown. You can continue with other tasks within PlusPort while the import is running.
Under 'Processed imports' processed imports are shown.
Under the 'Status' column you can see whether the file was successfully imported, whether the import failed, or whether the import has been archived.
Via the three dots behind each row of processed imports, it is possible to download an overview of both the successfully imported rows and the rows that could not be imported. In this last overview, the last column shows per row why it could not be imported.
There is also an option to cancel the import by clicking the cross behind the row, as shown in the image below:
Please note that imports are archived after 30 days. Downloading successful or failed imports is then no longer possible.
For more information about our different import options, see the other articles under Processes: 'How do I perform an import'.
