Cost types are used to assign costs to. A common example is to distinguish between Training costs and Accommodation costs. By creating these cost types, it becomes clear how costs are broken down.
Cost types can be split into the types Generic and Specific.
Creating cost types
Go to Management > Costs > Cost types
Select Add cost type.
Enter a name and choose a Type.
Types
The Generic type is used for the cost distribution module. You select this type when you want to distribute costs across a group of participants.
The Specific type is used for costs that are assigned to individual users. These types are also visible when you distribute costs directly during registration!
