Exporting a test
You can export a test from the overview at Management > Content management > Test definitions. Click the Export exam button next to the desired test. The system generates an export file containing the test settings, linked questionnaires and questions. This is useful for creating a backup or transferring the test to another environment.
Note:
After creating the test, you can link it to a training definition via the Content groups tab of the training definition. The test will then be available to users who are registered for the training.

Export a test as PDF
You can export a test as a PDF file. This is useful when you need to administer a test offline or require a paper version for archiving purposes.
The PDF file contains a cover page with the test title, fields for the candidate's name, date and result, followed by all questions with their answer options. The labels on the cover page (Candidate, Date and Result) are rendered in the language configured in your profile. If a Dutch-speaking administrator exports the same test, the labels appear as Kandidaat, Datum and Resultaat.
To export a test:
- Go to Management > Content management > Test definitions
- Open the test you want to export
- Click the Export button to download the PDF file
Note: To print the cover page in a different language, change your profile language via My profile > Details > Language before exporting. The new language is applied immediately to the next export.
Frequently asked questions
In which language do the labels on the PDF export cover page appear?
The cover page labels — Candidate, Date and Result — follow the language configured in your profile. For portals with multiple languages, you can export the same test in different languages by changing your profile language before starting the export.
